The room was super clean and cozy with an electric blanket that made it feel like a warm hug on a cold night. I loved lounging in the garden area and soaking up the sun on the terrace – perfect for unwinding after a busy day! The only minor hiccup was the breakfast timing felt a little rushed, but the food was top-notch, so it didn’t bother us much. 😊

A stay at Holly House was truly delightful! The cozy Deluxe Double Room featured an electric blanket that made the chill of December melt away. The room style felt uniquely charming with tasteful decor. Breakfast was a standout, with a full English spread that was delicious and made for a perfect start to the day. Jeffrey, the host, added a personal touch, sharing guides for local walks and ensuring we felt right at home. One minor downside was the tight entrance when parking. it added a bit of a challenge but certainly did not outweigh the positives. it was a lovely retreat with wonderful hosts and splendid food that I'll remember fondly!

The electric blanket kept the room cozily warm, a welcome touch on chilly nights. I appreciated the private character of the room, adding a unique charm to the stay.
Navigating the entrance felt like a daring maneuver, and it could be a bit intimidating for those not used to tight spots. The breakfast selection was quite limited, especially when wanting options beyond cooked fare, with only sliced bread available instead of choices like bread rolls.

Family with children will love this place
The hosts were remarkably attentive Jeffrey shared great local insights that made our trip memorable. I particularly enjoyed the little surprise of fresh milk to make our late-night drinks perfect, such a simple touch yet made all the difference.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but the quality justifies the cost.
